Responsibilities

The Baggage Handler is responsible for the courteous and professional transport of luggage and items that require storage. Duties may be assigned by a Bell Captain or Supervisor.

Provide courteous, prompt, and consistent luggage assistance to all guests.
Inspect tags on baggage to ensure routing to the designated location.
Ensure items are properly arranged and handled in a professional and safe manner.
Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and guests.
Bilingual is highly desirable.
One year of experience as a Bell Person at a major hotel is preferred.
High school education or equivalent preferred.
