The Baggage Handler is responsible for the courteous and professional transport of luggage and items that require storage. Duties may be assigned by a Bell Captain or Supervisor.
- Provide courteous, prompt, and consistent luggage assistance to all guests.
- Inspect tags on baggage to ensure routing to the designated location.
- Ensure items are properly arranged and handled in a professional and safe manner.
- Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and guests.
- Bilingual is highly desirable.
- One year of experience as a Bell Person at a major hotel is preferred.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
