Spa Massage Therapist

Spa Serein at Silver Cloud Hotel Tacoma at Point Ruston is hiring a licensed Spa massage therapist for an on-site day spa role in Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Spa Director
• Use in-depth knowledge of multiple massage modalities with hands-on experience
• Provide massage and body treatments
• Address client concerns using assessment results and the client’s medical condition
• Recommend treatments and products available at Spa Serein

Requirements

• Valid Washington State Massage License
• Current WA State Massage Therapist License
• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Current massage therapist license (WA)
• Hotel experience preferred
• Customer service required
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on massage experience preferred
• Patience, professionalism, and respect for spa guests
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business demands and guest needs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule:
  • Friday-Sunday 9am-2pm or 2pm-7pm
  • Monday, Wednesday, or Thursdays 10am-6pm
• Gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
• Licensed massage therapists qualified to address concerns based on the assessment and the medical condition of the client

Compensation

• Starting hourly wage: $17.13
• Hourly wage range: $17.13 - $19 per hour (based on tenure, applicable experience, and work history)
• Base compensation starts at $17.13 per hour
• Potential earnings average up to $49.00 per service hour (inclusive of hourly rate, 20% commission on services provided, service charge, and gratuities)
• Pay range: $17.13 - $49.00 per hour
