Job Description

Avila La Fonda Hotel in Avila Beach, California is looking for a friendly Front Desk/Guest Services Agent to welcome guests and support a boutique hotel experience. This part-time role centers on smooth check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, answering inquiries, and providing warm, informed service that enhances the guest stay.

Location: Avila Beach, CA (onsite)

Compensation: USD 17 - 18 per hour • Part time

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide information in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner
Build a solid understanding of hotel staff, room locations, rates, and available amenities to assist guests
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with professionalism
Process reservation requests promptly via phone, email, and in person
Answer incoming calls in accordance with established telephone etiquette
Perform additional duties as required
Host daily guest receptions and assist with light food preparation for these events
