Job Description

Enchante Boutique Hotel in Los Altos, CA is seeking a Weekend Chef for Brunch to help bring our weekend service to life. This onsite role focuses on producing consistently high-quality brunch dishes in a lively, fast-paced kitchen where teamwork, food safety, and presentation matter every shift.

Weekend brunch at Enchante is all about precision and flow. You will prepare and execute brunch menu items with creativity while supporting smooth service during busy hours, keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and aligned with food handling standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute a diverse range of brunch menu items with precision and creativity, maintaining consistency and quality.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and adhere to recipes to meet restaurant standards.
Manage meal preparation timelines to ensure prompt service during peak weekend service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following food safety management protocols at all times.
Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and accommodating special requests when necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role.
Strong culinary skills, including poaching, braising, grilling, and food preparation.
Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and safe food handling practices.
Current Food Handlers Certificate.
Ability to follow recipes precisely while remaining flexible for special requests and dietary needs.
Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive approach to kitchen operations.
