Job Description

The HR Manager will lead the corporate human resources function in Overland Park, KS, guiding talent strategy, leadership development, compliance, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR operations.

Responsibilities

Provide HR guidance as a member of the leadership team.
Lead organizational change initiatives and drive ongoing improvement.
Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions.
Serve as the primary advisor on employee relations matters.
Coach managers on performance management, investigations, coaching, disciplinary steps, and conflict resolution.
Conduct workplace investigations with consistency and legal compliance.
Foster a positive, engaging, and high-performance culture.
Develop strategies to attract top talent.
Partner with hiring managers to improve hiring quality and speed.
Oversee onboarding and orientation programs.
Coach leaders on effective management practices.
Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
Promote accountability across the organization.
Oversee compensation programs including bonus and incentive plans.
Collaborate with benefits vendors and brokers to maintain competitive offerings.
Ensure compliance with benefit regulations.
Develop policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
Maintain data integrity and accurate HR reporting.
Improve HR processes through automation and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain the employee handbook and HR policies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Experience supporting multi-site operations.
Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
Excellent coaching and leadership abilities.
Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP.
