Job Description

Avid Salem Hotel in Salem, VA is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to help create a welcoming guest experience. Responsibilities

Prepare and set up the breakfast area before guest service hours begin
Ensure all food and beverage items are stocked, fresh, and presented attractively
Greet guests warmly and respond to food or beverage requests
Monitor food temperatures, replenish items as needed, and maintain cleanliness during service
Clear tables, sanitize equipment, and clean service areas after breakfast
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in line with health department regulations
Report maintenance or supply needs promptly to management
Support other hotel departments as needed and maintain a positive team environment

Requirements

Customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Dependable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Strong attention to detail and a friendly, professional attitude
Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire)
