Breakfast Attendant

Avid Salem Hotel in Salem, VA is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to help create a welcoming guest experience. Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area before guest service hours begin
• Ensure all food and beverage items are stocked, fresh, and presented attractively
• Greet guests warmly and respond to food or beverage requests
• Monitor food temperatures, replenish items as needed, and maintain cleanliness during service
• Clear tables, sanitize equipment, and clean service areas after breakfast
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in line with health department regulations
• Report maintenance or supply needs promptly to management
• Support other hotel departments as needed and maintain a positive team environment

Requirements

• Customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and a friendly, professional attitude
• Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire)
