Residence Inn by Marriott Big Sky/The Wilson Hotel is dedicated to service, excellence, and nimble teamwork. As a Breakfast Attendant (onsite in Big Sky, MT), you will help create a smooth, welcoming breakfast experience while following brand standards, food safety expectations, and EarthView sustainability practices.
What You’ll Do
You’ll prepare the breakfast bar for hotel guests by greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel and sustainability standards. Your day-to-day work supports a clean, well-stocked area and strong guest satisfaction.
- Prepare the breakfast bar, greeting and servicing guests in line with brand and sustainability standards.
- Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from the pantry to serving counters.
- Set up attractive food displays and maintain cleanliness to support food safety.
- Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes, carrying tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
- Clean up spilled food or drink, address broken dishes, and remove trash.
- Maintain adequate supplies of clean glassware, dishes, and trays.
- Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
- Stock cabinets and serving areas with condiments, refilling condiment containers as needed.
- Locate and provide items requested by guests.
- Clean and polish pantry or breakfast-area counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment; mop or vacuum floors.
- Stay aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward improving departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Follow HHM’s EarthView sustainability guidelines and practices.
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
- Help ensure overall guest satisfaction and perform other duties as requested by management.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Food sanitation certification (a plus); required within 90 days of employment.
- Previous food and beverage experience (preferred) or equivalent training.
Schedule and Physical Requirements
Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends. The role requires standing for extended periods and includes walking, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds, along with bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
