Housekeeper/ Breakfast Attendant

Contribute to clean, comfortable guest experiences at Best Western PLUS Arrowhead Hotel Colton, CA onsite in Colton, CA as a Housekeeper/Breakfast Attendant.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces to meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain public area cleanliness in lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and breakfast zones using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely by following procedures in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate janitorial equipment efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners, to support sanitation and floor care.
• Assist with breakfast area setup by arranging food stations, replenishing supplies, and maintaining a hygienic environment for guests.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately when incidents or safety concerns arise.
• Complete manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or furniture while following safety protocols to help prevent injuries.

Requirements

• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely by following SDS procedures and using PPE.
• Skill in operating janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners.
• Ability to follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and correctly in the event of incidents or safety concerns.
• Adherence to injury prevention safety protocols during manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting of supplies or furniture.
• Strong customer service skills to support guests with professionalism and positive interactions.

Pay & Schedule

• $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
• Expected hours: No more than 40.0 hours per week
• Work location: In person
