Housekeeping Attendant

This onsite Housekeeping Attendant role in Matamoras, PA focuses on maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel standards. The position includes room service cleaning, sanitation, restocking, inspection, and timely reporting of issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, towels, and other linens.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and countertops.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators when needed.
• Remove trash and restock guest amenities and supplies.
• Inspect rooms closely to ensure no personal belongings or cleaning supplies are left behind.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to management.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways and assigned public areas.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Complete assigned rooms within the required time while meeting quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
