Job Description

Grand Beach Suites Hotel in Miami Beach, FL is hiring an on-site Pool and Beach Houseman to help create a clean, organized, and relaxing pool and beach experience for every guest. This role supports guest satisfaction through attentive setup, thorough upkeep, and quick, friendly assistance, while helping maintain a safe and welcoming outdoor environment.

What you’ll do

Arrive on time, groomed and in the correct uniform, and follow hotel standards
Set up and break down poolside and beach furniture, umbrellas, and amenities to keep the area tidy
Clean and maintain pool and beach spaces by removing debris, wiping down surfaces, and reporting safety concerns
Welcome guests, help with seating and amenities, and respond to requests promptly
Monitor inventory for guest supplies such as towels, water, and sunscreen, and replenish stock as needed
Support safety and hygiene compliance by checking conditions and following health and safety policies
Assist with special event setup in pool and beach areas when required
Report incidents or issues right away to the Pool & Beach Manager
Stay current on hotel amenities and services to answer guest questions
Work collaboratively with the team and assist others as needed to maintain smooth operations
Maintain a polite, friendly, helpful attitude toward guests, management, and coworkers
Execute emergency procedures as outlined in hotel safety standards
Attend regular hotel meetings and training sessions to stay updated on standards and policies
Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and in excellent condition
Follow hotel recycling practices and uniform and grooming standards
Stay informed on hotel updates, services, and policies
Perform other duties assigned to support the pool and beach team

What you bring

Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team to deliver a high-quality guest experience
Customer service experience in a hospitality setting
Ability to communicate in English; additional languages are a plus
Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Flexibility to work a changing schedule, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Tolerance of all cultures and a welcoming approach with guests
Within the first 30 days, ability to perform to standard all activities on the New Hire Training Checklist

Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
