Job Description

At The Vintedge Hotel Inspired Residences in Lyndhurst, NJ, this role keeps day-to-day standards on track by leading the housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams. You will oversee inspections, support team performance, and respond to guest needs while maintaining clean, safe, and well-documented operations onsite.

As a housekeeping supervisor, you’ll balance leadership with hands-on professionalism, helping ensure every room and public space meets hotel expectations.

What You’ll Do

Supervise housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to verify quality and adherence to hotel standards.
Provide training, guidance, and support to help team members succeed and grow professionally.
Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with guests, managers, and colleagues.
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with courtesy and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures.
Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a passion for hospitality.

What You Bring

Experience in a leadership role in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
Excellent communication skills, with an outgoing, friendly, and professional style for guests and colleagues.
Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve success.
Actively engaged and passionate about the work.
Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in all responsibilities.

Pay

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
