Housekeeping Supervisor

At The Vintedge Hotel Inspired Residences in Lyndhurst, NJ, this role keeps day-to-day standards on track by leading the housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams. You will oversee inspections, support team performance, and respond to guest needs while maintaining clean, safe, and well-documented operations onsite.

As a housekeeping supervisor, you’ll balance leadership with hands-on professionalism, helping ensure every room and public space meets hotel expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to verify quality and adherence to hotel standards.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to help team members succeed and grow professionally.
• Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with guests, managers, and colleagues.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures.
• Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a passion for hospitality.

What You Bring

• Experience in a leadership role in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with an outgoing, friendly, and professional style for guests and colleagues.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve success.
• Actively engaged and passionate about the work.
• Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in all responsibilities.

Pay

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
