Bartender

Hotel Indigo North Conway is hiring a Bartender for onsite service in a fast-paced hotel environment, focused on quality drinks and strong guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and standards.
• Deliver strong guest service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and providing drink recommendations.
• Use Silverware POS to enter orders and process payments.
• Keep the bar area clean and well organized, including proper food handling and adherence to safety practices.
• Support inventory control by ordering supplies and tracking usage to help minimize waste.
• Coordinate with kitchen team members to maintain timely service during peak periods, including banquets and catering events.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Stay current on trends in cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits to enhance guest experiences.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or hotel setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is essential.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Retail math experience is a plus, and knowledge of brewing techniques for craft beverages is helpful.
• A background in hospitality or food service will be beneficial.
