Hotel Night Auditor

Overnight coverage needed in Fairfield, CT for a part-time Hotel Night Auditor from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Run the nightly audit and complete the day’s financial closeout
• Balance cash, reconcile reports, and verify daily transactions and logs
• Welcome and check in late arriving guests
• Support reservations with updates, changes, cancellations, and guest requests
• Handle overnight guest concerns quickly, calmly, and professionally
• Prepare the property so the morning team arrives to a ready-to-go hotel
• Assist with morning breakfast and food & beverage setup
• Provide guest guidance on Fairfield and nearby area options
• Monitor the property overnight and document items needing management attention
• Spot irregularities, operational problems, or maintenance concerns and communicate clearly
• Use the PMS, guest communication platforms, and other hotel technology with confidence

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hotel or relevant hospitality experience
• Night audit experience is preferred, training available for the right candidate
• Valid driver’s license
• Available for weekends and holidays
• Overnight Shift (Required): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Location requirement: Fairfield, CT 06824 (Required)
• Education requirement: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Customer Service: 3 years (Required)
