Housekeeper

avid hotel Auburn University Area is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to support daily cleanliness and guest-ready presentation onsite in Auburn, AL. The role focuses on maintaining designated interior areas, completing routine cleaning duties, and keeping supplies stocked while following safety and hygiene expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated areas, including rooms, hallways, lobbies, and common areas
• Complete general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures
• Restock supplies and ensure amenities are replenished as needed
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly
• Report maintenance issues and any safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for cleanliness and hygiene standards

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Familiarity with housekeeping management software is a plus

Pay and Schedule

This position is part-time with pay set at $13.00 to $13.50 per hour.

Location and Work Details

This is an in-person role based in Auburn, AL (onsite). Relocation to Auburn, AL 36832 is required prior to starting work.
