Job Description

The HSKP Housemen role supports the Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel housekeeping team, focusing on maintaining clean guest floors and public spaces and assisting Room Attendants to ensure a welcoming guest environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest hallways, service areas, elevators, and other assigned public spaces, preserving a consistent and orderly presentation throughout the shift.
Walk assigned floors during the shift to collect trash, soiled linens, and other housekeeping items, ensuring timely removal and a neat corridor appearance.
Stock housekeeping closets and floor pantries with clean linens, towels, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies to support efficient room servicing.
Deliver guest requests promptly, including towels, blankets, pillows, cribs, rollaway beds, and other amenities, to uphold responsive service standards.
Assist Room Attendants by removing trash and linens, making beds, and completing room cleaning as needed to support a smooth housekeeping workflow.
Support deep cleaning tasks and special housekeeping projects as assigned to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Transport soiled linens and trash to designated collection areas in a safe and timely manner.
Maintain housekeeping equipment and carts in a clean, organized, and safe condition to facilitate efficient operations.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests while delivering outstanding customer service.
Follow all Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols to ensure compliance and consistency.
Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and guest service skills.
Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
Push and pull housekeeping carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly.
Operate housekeeping equipment including vacuums, mops, brooms, cleaning tools, and other housekeeping supplies.
Safely work around cleaning chemicals while following all safety guidelines.

Job Description

Situated onsite at the Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel, Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a meticulous Housekeeping Inspector to uphold the property’s Marriott brand standards. In this role, you will inspect guest rooms and public areas, coach housekeeping colleagues, and ensure cleanliness and presentation meet guest expectations while supporting a safe, efficient operating environment.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections of guest rooms across vacancy, occupancy, and post-checkout configurations to verify cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with Marriott brand standards.
Verify that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently meet the property's quality and cleanliness benchmarks.
Identify maintenance issues promptly and communicate them to the Engineering team, following through as required.

Requirements

Minimum of six months' experience conducting housekeeping inspections in a hotel of comparable size and quality.
Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.
Solid knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures, quality standards, safety practices, and security policies.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and lead team members.
Ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work a schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
