Public Space Attendant

The Morning Public Space Attendant supports the Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas during morning hours and assisting the Housekeeping team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public hotel spaces, including the lobby, restrooms, corridors, elevators, meeting rooms, fitness center, and staff areas.
• Ensure public spaces remain guest-ready before and throughout the day.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner while responding promptly to requests.
• Walk assigned floors to collect trash, soiled linens, and other housekeeping items.
• Replenish clean linens and restock housekeeping floor pantries.
• Support Room Attendants by assisting with heavy lifting and deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Clean and sanitize public spaces in accordance with Marriott and Pyramid Global Hospitality standards.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from service areas and transport them to designated locations.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and associates.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and housekeeping standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
