Houseman/Public Area

The Houseman/Public Area Attendant supports the hotel’s guest experience by maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented public spaces throughout the property. This onsite role in Winston-Salem focuses on sanitation, floor care, and ongoing upkeep of shared areas for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to keep surfaces pristine and safe.
• Check the condition of furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements in public areas, and report any damage or maintenance needs promptly.
• Support event needs by assisting with the setup and breakdown of public area amenities when required.
• Follow safety procedures for industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently to support housekeeping management and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the shift.
• Work with team members to uphold hospitality and cleanliness expectations at all times.
• Strip linens from rooms.
• Walk hallways to confirm they are free of linen.
• Clean elevator tracks and walls.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills are essential.

Compensation

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
