What you’ll do

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes by following standardized recipes, guidelines, and portion expectations for consistent taste and presentation.
Assist with execution of the hotel menu across appetizers, entrees, and desserts, using seasonal ingredients to keep offerings fresh and diverse.
Ensure every plate meets quality standards before leaving the kitchen, including proper plating and adherence to portion sizes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment while following food safety and sanitation regulations.
Adhere to HACCP principles to reduce risk of foodborne illness and prevent cross-contamination.
Support the team with kitchen operations including food prep, inventory management, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Communicate clearly with kitchen teammates, servers, and other staff to support smooth service and efficient operations.
Manage time effectively to meet guest orders promptly while protecting food quality.
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes and modifications informed by guest feedback and culinary trends.
Be available to work in different kitchen sections as business needs require.
Assist with training new kitchen staff and mentor less experienced cooks to strengthen team performance.

What you bring

Culinary degree or relevant certification from a culinary school (preferred).
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a hotel or similar high-volume environment.
Strong cooking skills and knowledge of multiple cooking techniques.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Valid food handling certificate is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-focused and meeting deadlines.
