Job Description

Mananto Enterprises LLC, The Northampton Hotel, is seeking a Houseperson to help keep the property running smoothly and maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and team members. This onsite role in Northampton, MA supports both daily operations and shared spaces through hands-on cleaning, room resets, and timely service throughout the day.

What you’ll do

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared areas
Assist with setting up, breaking down, and resetting hotel rooms and other spaces for guest use
Respond to service requests from guests or team members in a timely and professional manner
Transport supplies, linens, furniture, or equipment as needed to support operations
Help monitor inventory and restock cleaning and operational supplies
Support housekeeping and facilities teams with general labor and operational tasks
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items to the appropriate team members
Follow safety, sanitation, and property standards consistently

What you bring

Prior experience in hospitality, facilities support, housekeeping, or a related environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items as part of daily duties
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Effective communication and a professional, courteous attitude
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Basic understanding of safe handling practices and workplace procedures

Pay and location

Location: Northampton, MA (onsite)
Pay: USD 17 per hour
