Custodian

The Ingleside Hotel is seeking a part-time Custodian to support the Housekeeping team. This role focuses on cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas during overnight shifts, with a limited term through the end of September and the potential to continue employment.

Role Overview

As a Custodian, you will help ensure rest rooms, locker rooms, hallways, and lobbies remain clean, well maintained, and ready for guest use. Overnight coverage includes routine cleaning tasks and periodic rechecks within a schedule set by the supervisor. The position includes communication to coordinate needs related to guest room deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain proper cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including rest rooms, women’s and men’s locker rooms, hallways, and lobbies, as well as wiping down tables and chairs.
• Carry a radio to communicate regarding needed deliveries to guest rooms.
• Clean and recheck all public areas within a regular time frame established by the supervisor. Tasks may include restroom cleaning, locker room cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal.
• Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment and tools.
• Communicate in English with the front desk to arrange delivery of items to guest rooms.

Location and Schedule

This is an onsite position in Pewaukee, WI. The role is part time and operates during overnight shifts as part of housekeeping coverage.

Compensation

Pay is USD 15 to 16 per hour.

Term of Employment

This role is limited term through the end of September, with the potential to stay on after the initial period.
