Hotel Housekeeper

Mainstay Inn Boutique Hotel in Phoenixville, PA 19460 is hiring a Hotel Housekeeper to help keep guest spaces clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival. This onsite, paid role focuses on routine room, bathroom, corridor, and public area cleaning, along with safe chemical use, restocking, and accurate recordkeeping to support quality standards.

What you will do

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas thoroughly using appropriate techniques and cleaning equipment.
• Handle cleaning agents and chemicals safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures.
• Use vacuuming, floor care, and other equipment efficiently to maintain strong sanitation and presentation standards.
• Complete manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies, while following safety protocols.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas so amenities meet quality expectations.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately if incidents or safety concerns arise.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, sanitation procedures, and equipment maintenance for accountability and quality assurance.

What you bring

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred, though training is available for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices helps you perform effectively in the role.
• Advantageous knowledge of chemical handling, sanitation standards, and floor cleaning techniques.
• Customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as vacuuming and heavy lifting comfortably for extended periods.
• Understanding of hotel emergency procedures to support your safety and the safety of guests.
