Housekeeper

In this onsite Housekeeper role in Aurora, CO, you’ll help create clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for every guest, while working with modern property tools including PMS and room-status systems. Pay is USD $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

What you’ll do

Maintain guest rooms and public areas to meet hotel and brand standards, supporting a positive guest experience through consistent cleanliness, responsive service, and clear communication across departments.

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish supplies, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns, and report issues promptly.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and special housekeeping needs.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly in line with company procedures.
• Keep housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas organized and ready for the next task.
• Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned.
• Communicate room status and maintenance needs to the appropriate hotel departments.
• Support team efforts to meet productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and hotel cleanliness standards.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, courteous guest-service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver housekeeping supplies and equipment, with occasional lifts up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and in varying temperatures as required.
