Custodian I-Housekeeping-On Call

California Hotel & Casino is looking for an on-call Custodian to help keep public spaces clean and support guest room needs. In this role, you will maintain assigned areas, handle property clean up that may include bio-chemical material, and assist with daily linen and equipment care.

This onsite position in Las Vegas, NV includes cleaning responsibilities across high-traffic locations and providing timely deliveries to guest rooms. You will also support preventive maintenance of equipment and supplies to help ensure everything is ready for service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms, and similar spaces.
• Deliver and retrieve rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and other items to and from guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, including picking up and removing trash and debris.
• Complete property clean up, including handling bio-chemical material.
• Stock linen supplies in linen closets, and load and unload linen carts.
• Provide preventative care for equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 or 21 (varies by property).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
