Responsibilities

• Protect guest privacy and security by maintaining guest privacy at all times and following hotel privacy procedures to safeguard guest information and property.
• Sort, launder, and fold linen and terry to uphold the property's cleanliness standards and to provide a safe, fresh, and comfortable experience for guests and fellow team members.
• May be asked to strip beds upon checkout and place dirty linen inside the room for processing.
• Prepare and maintain linen carts in a neat and orderly manner to increase productivity and efficiency during shift operations.
• Visually inspect the work area for cleanliness, wipe doors, sweep and mop floors, and restock laundry supplies such as detergent and stain products to support ongoing operations.
• Complete work orders or promptly notify a supervisor about maintenance needs in the laundry space or public areas.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor at all times to support guest satisfaction and team morale.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years hotel laundry experience.
• Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, proper use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push and pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs, and to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Effective communication with guests and associates.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
