Housekeeper

LONG BEACH HOTEL in Long Beach, NY is hiring a detail-focused Housekeeper to help maintain a spotless, well-organized environment for guests or residents. This onsite, full-time position centers on sanitation and custodial work, with added responsibilities that support day-to-day cleanliness throughout the property.

The role includes a mix of housekeeping tasks and customer-facing service, ensuring rooms and shared areas remain hygienic, tidy, and properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete sanitation tasks to keep all areas hygienic and safe
• Perform custodial duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Use carpet cleaning techniques to maintain carpets in excellent condition
• Provide excellent customer service to guests or residents
• Carry out floor care tasks, including waxing and polishing floors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas at all times
• Assist with basic cooking tasks if required

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or residential cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is a plus
• Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role
• Familiarity with different cleaning products and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management abilities
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Pay and Schedule

• Job type: Full-time
• Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
