Laundry Attendant

At The Merrill Hotel in Muscatine, IA, this onsite role keeps guest and operational needs supported through reliable laundry service. As a Laundry Attendant, you help ensure the hotel has a steady supply of clean linens while also supporting supply tracking when requested.

You will move linens through every step of the process, from sorting and stain treatment to drying, folding, and preparing items for use. In addition, you will play a key part in monitoring laundry and cleaning supplies so the team can maintain readiness across the property.

Responsibilities

• Sort all linens and treat stains.
• Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents.
• Transfer wet, clean items and dry them as directed.
• Sort and fold or hang clean dried items.
• Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate supply needs to the general manager.
