Room Attendant

As a Room Attendant at Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa, you help keep every guestroom immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming through consistent cleaning and attentive service.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, walls, and all surfaces using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
• Make beds, replace linens, and ensure bedding meets cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Replenish towels, guest amenities, and other supplies in line with hotel brand standards.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean mirrors and glass surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas.
• Stock and organize housekeeping carts and maintain readiness for daily room service.
• Greet guests courteously and handle requests promptly with professionalism and warmth.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and security policies, including proper chemical handling and lost-and-found procedures.
• Support other team members as needed to maintain a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and commitment to guest satisfaction.
