Job Description

IRIS HOTEL BOSTON is looking for an Overnight Houseperson / Valet Attendant to help keep the property welcoming, safe, and spotless during overnight hours. This on-site role runs from 11pm to 7am, combining detailed overnight cleaning with valet services, including careful parking and retrieval of guest vehicles.

What you’ll do

Complete thorough hotel cleaning and floor care from 11pm-7am, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing to maintain a spotless environment.
Perform precise janitorial and custodial work in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and restrooms, with efficiency and attention to detail.
Operate industrial cleaning equipment and use cleaning supplies to support performance and meet safety standards during nightly routines.
Provide courteous valet service by parking and retrieving guest vehicles with care and professionalism during overnight shifts.
Check common areas for cleanliness and safety, addressing issues immediately to support guest satisfaction.
Work with team members to ensure cleaning protocols align with health standards and hotel policies.

What you bring

Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, or custodial work in a hospitality or hotel setting.
Drivers License required, with the ability to get in and out of guest vehicles and drive safely and courteously.
Strong knowledge of janitorial procedures, industrial cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Prior hotel experience or hospitality background helps with understanding guest service expectations.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests politely.
Demonstrated ability to complete housekeeping tasks efficiently during overnight hours while maintaining quality standards.

Job Description

The Front Office Manager is responsible for leading daily front desk operations and strengthening the guest experience. This onsite, full-time role oversees check-in and check-out flow, supports service standards, and coordinates with hotel departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise front desk staff to deliver guest service with professionalism and warmth.
