What you will be doing

• Prepare and present high-quality food for guests in a timely manner.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to support smooth service.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards consistently, including all kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Use proper sanitation practices to prevent spoilage and contamination, while meeting policy and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
• Assist with daily cleaning across key areas, including the pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and prep area.

What you bring to the role

• Previous experience in a full service restaurant and/or culinary operation as a line cook, cook, banquet cook, assisted living cook, or in restaurant roles including food handling and supportive positions (preferred).
• Time management and organization skills to support high-quality food production.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction or supervision.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Training in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage.
• Capacity to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build positive rapport with many types of personalities.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Enjoys maintaining and building sound working relationships with teammates.
