Bartender

Parguera Plaza Hospitality Group is seeking energetic, professional Bartenders/Servers to support guest experiences across its venues in La Parguera, Puerto Rico. This on-site role in Lajas, PR combines bartending duties with table service, with an emphasis on dependable service, smooth operations, and guest satisfaction.

Role Overview

In this position, you will manage both bar service and restaurant table service responsibilities. The focus is on delivering consistent quality, working efficiently during busy periods, and maintaining a service standard that supports positive guest outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both bartending and table service duties while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a bartender, server, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment.
• Experience using restaurant POS systems.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• English and Spanish communication skills preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with restaurant service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in restaurants, cocktail bars, hotels, or pool bars.
• Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
• Experience with suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
• Familiarity with inventory control and beverage cost management.
• Previous experience handling high-volume service and special events.

Location and Schedule

This role is onsite in Lajas, PR.

Compensation

Hourly pay range: USD 7 - 8.
