Food & Beverage Supervisor

Lead hands-on restaurant and bar service as the Food & Beverage Supervisor for Waterlin in Delta Hotels by Marriott Milwaukee.

Responsibilities

• Run the shift: Direct servers, bartenders, and hosts during service, including table assignments, pacing, and active follow-through on standards
• Elevate the guest experience: Step in where extra attention is needed and turn service moments into reasons guests want to return
• Coach the team in real time: Provide timely feedback and support newer staff as they build confidence
• Coordinate with the kitchen: Align on timing and communication so food service stays accurate and on pace
• Maintain standards and compliance: Oversee responsible alcohol service, health code adherence, and brand standards
• Handle cash and closing: Complete shift paperwork, manage comps, and perform closing duties accurately

Requirements

• Prior restaurant or bar experience required
• Supervisory experience a strong plus
• Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server training a plus, or willingness to obtain it
• Leads by example during service, actively stepping in when tables need support
• Stays calm and clear under pressure, especially during a full house
• Demonstrates genuine commitment to hospitality on the floor

Compensation

• $15.00 per hour, plus gratuities
