Job Description

Provide welcoming, accurate front desk service while helping drive guest satisfaction and financial performance at Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and complete check-in registration, including entering and retrieving guest information from the computer
  • Confirm guest details and room rate, select rooms, and code electronic keys
  • Assist with check-out to ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for
  • Use the point-of-sale system to post and manage transactions
  • Handle money and process payments, including accepting and recording various payment types
  • Process credit and debit cards and convert foreign currency
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and local area information
  • Answer guest questions and handle inquiries with timely, friendly, efficient service
  • Apply upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and support maximum room occupancy
  • Address guest complaints by researching, resolving, and negotiating solutions to improve guest satisfaction

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or other high-volume customer-facing environment
  • Strong commitment to excellent customer service with a consistent focus on guest satisfaction and memorable experiences
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Team spirit
