Guest Room Attendant
Job Description
At Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino in Pahrump, NV, this role supports the Housekeeping team by ensuring guest rooms are cleaned, serviced, and maintained to department standards. You play a key part in creating an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and safe, while helping support overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, courteous guest service aligned with the company’s guest service culture.
- Load and restock housekeeping carts with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies as needed throughout the shift.
- Clean and service guest rooms according to department standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
- Replace or report missing, damaged, or broken items and furniture.
- Complete room status reports accurately and follow entry/exit procedures for guest rooms.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
- Deliver outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members in line with company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 3 months of hospitality, cleaning, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Obtain and maintain all required work cards by the company (work cards listed: None).
- Verify right to work in the United States.
- Frequently push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
- Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist.
- Constantly standing and walking.
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person.
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
Work Environment
- Indoor work setting.
- Possible exposure to smoky and noisy conditions.
- Possible slippery surfaces.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and/or gases.
