Housekeeper

The Valor Hotel in Parowan, UT is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to support a clean, well-ordered environment for guests. This role focuses on daily room and area cleaning, laundry handling, restocking supplies, and timely communication of any maintenance concerns.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across hotel facilities. You will help ensure guest spaces remain comfortable and present a high standard of hygiene through routine cleaning tasks, laundry support, and replenishment of common supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to meet established cleanliness standards.
• Complete floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Support laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Restock guest room and common area supplies such as toiletries and linens.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and seasonal tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations while completing cleaning duties.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills for interaction with guests and staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial practices is advantageous.
