Housekeeper

Maintain clean, comfortable rooms and shared areas while supporting a safe, welcoming hotel environment.

• Room cleaning: Dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning detergents
• Floor care: Vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying proper floor cleaning and care techniques to keep areas looking polished
• Laundry management: Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and other hotel clothing items efficiently
• Sanitation procedures: Follow health standards for cleaning and sanitation to support a safe environment for residents and visitors
• Manual handling: Complete task work that may require heavy lifting of furniture or supplies using proper technique and safety measures to prevent injury
• Shared area upkeep: Keep lobby, hallway areas, or entryways clean and presentable
• Customer communication: Talk with clients to understand specific needs, provide personalized housekeeping services, and maintain professionalism

Requirements

• Experience: Proven background in Hotel / Motel or commercial cleaning, with understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment use
• Cleaning knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning methods, floor cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards
• Safety with chemicals: Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely
• Manual handling ability: Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks with proper safety measures
• Time management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks across multiple rooms or areas
• Housekeeping familiarity: Experience with hotel/motel practices such as dusting, laundry management, and surface sanitation
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual labor for thorough cleaning

Salary: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
