Riverwind Hotel in Norman, OK is hiring a Maintenance Tech to support the smooth operation and ongoing upkeep of hotel facilities. Working under Traditions Hospitality Group, you will handle routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs while responding to guest needs and documenting completed work.
This onsite position plays a key role in keeping the property functional, safe, and guest-ready through day-to-day maintenance and support for special projects as assigned.
Role Overview
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs for plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances.
- Inspect hotel facilities to identify maintenance concerns and address them promptly.
- Respond efficiently to guest requests for maintenance assistance with professionalism.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery as needed, including lighting fixtures, locks, and furniture.
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately in line with company procedures.
- Assist with renovation projects, installations, and other special projects as assigned.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to help maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to support overall cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of the hotel.
What You Bring
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to obtain a Gaming license (if applicable).
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
