Housekeeping Room Attendant

Clarion Hotel by Choice Hotels offers a full-time, in-person role for a Housekeeping Room Attendant in Fairbanks, AK. What you’ll do

In this housekeeping role, you will perform a range of cleaning tasks and maintain room readiness to established standards. Your day-to-day work includes:

• Completing cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
• Ensuring rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Protecting cleaning equipment and confirming there are no inadequacies
• Notifying superiors about damages, deficits, and disturbances
• Handling reasonable complaints and requests with professionalism and patience
• Checking and maintaining stocking levels of consumables, replacing them when appropriate
• Following health and safety rules and staying aware of company-related practices

What you bring

The ideal candidate can support consistent cleanliness and quality with minimal supervision. Experience and skills that are preferred and important include:

• Preferred experience in floor care, hospitality, or industrial cleaning
• Knowledge of housekeeping management techniques and procedures
• Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance
• A customer-oriented and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Excellent communication skills

This is a full-time position with an in-person work location in Fairbanks, AK.
