Connect Hotel Management is hiring a Maintenance professional for an onsite, full-time role in Secaucus, NJ. This position offers a clear path to keep hotel operations running smoothly through hands-on maintenance, inspections, and dependable follow-through. In this role, you will complete routine repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and help maintain a clean, organized work area. Work is managed and documented through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), supporting efficient tracking of work orders and completed tasks. You will coordinate with other departments to address needs, prioritize assignments, and ensure timely issue resolution. The role also includes providing leadership and guidance to support effective maintenance operations and delivering strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and appliances
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Use a CMMS to track work orders and document completed tasks
• Provide leadership and guidance to support efficient and effective maintenance operations
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and prioritize tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Proficiency using CMMS software for work order management
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to fabricate or repair equipment as needed
