Maintenance Technician

Join Middletown Hotel Management onsite in Beavercreek, OH and help keep daily hotel operations running smoothly. This role focuses on maintaining the building, grounds, and the mechanical and electrical systems that support uninterrupted day-to-day service. You will be part of a hands-on team environment where safety, responsiveness, and attention to detail matter.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and repair both the interior and exterior of the hotel building.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, repair, and general maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and domestic water systems.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance logs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems throughout the physical plant.
• Inspect the property to identify current needs and potential issues.
• Plan and carry out ongoing maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure work is completed to specifications.
• Repair, paint, and install architectural features and finishes.
• Complete preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
• Attend company orientation and other meetings as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as requested by a supervisor and assist other team members when needed.
• Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures and rules.
• Respond to emergencies as required and use protective equipment.
• Report accidents, injuries, hazards, near misses, defective equipment, and any property damage or loss to your supervisor.

What you bring

• Building trades and/or graduation from a technical school.
• General experience in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus general building trades knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, including providing information and answering questions.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds individually, push 250-pound carts, or collectively assist team members with loads above listed limits.
• Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
• Ability to reach and bend for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Ability to work in a demanding, physical environment with fluctuating adverse temperatures.
• Frequent ability to reach, twist, bend, stoop, walk, stand, climb stairs and ladders, handle items, and smile.

Pay: USD 22 to 25 per hour.
