Room Inspector

As a Room Inspector at Hotel Indigo Winston Salem Nc, you will help keep the property clean, safe, and ready for every arrival. This onsite position supports a team environment focused on consistent quality, strong sanitation practices, and responsive service. Compensation is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Perform thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to confirm cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with safety standards
• Supervise and motivate cleaning staff and custodial teams to maintain high performance and consistent results
• Coordinate cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure duties are completed on time
• Enforce safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures during all cleaning activities, including industrial and commercial cleaning work
• Train and guide staff on cleaning and sanitation management, emphasizing best practices in hygiene and safety compliance
• Handle guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally to support a positive customer service experience
• Oversee laundry operations, ensuring linens and uniforms are handled according to hospitality standards
• Maintain a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers, with a sense of urgency and detail-oriented approach

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on sanitation and safety regulations
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage teams effectively
• Strong communication skills for managerial interactions, staff training, and customer service
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning protocols, and hospitality laundry processes
• Leadership qualities to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with safety standards involving cleaning equipment, chemicals, and workplace hazards
• Ability to implement cleaning and sanitation management strategies that support a safe and hygienic environment

Pay & Location
