PM Housekeeping Lobby Attendant role responsible for cleaning and maintaining the lobby and public areas, restocking supplies, and assisting guests at The Higgins Hotel in New Orleans.
Overview
As a PM Housekeeping Lobby Attendant, you ensure the lobby and public spaces remain clean, orderly, and presentable. You will keep mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors free of marks, remove trash, restock supplies, and promptly respond to guest requests.
Responsibilities
- Clean the lobby area, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and countertops in public and employee restrooms.
- Replenish restroom and other supplies as needed.
- Sweep, vacuum, and dispose of refuse.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, including cross training.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
