Sports Bar Shift Leader

The Sports Bar Shift Leader at JACKPOT JUNCTION CASINO HOTEL in Morton, MN leads day-to-day operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high-level hospitality, effective staff coverage, and consistent product and service standards. This onsite role includes opening or closing responsibilities and hands-on bar duties.

Shift Leadership & Hospitality Focus

Support profitable operations by maintaining a high level of hospitality throughout the Sports Bar. Lead by example and promote service behaviors that align with the expectations of the Beverage Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Open or close Sports Bar shifts as directed by the Beverage Operations Manager.
• Monitor staffing levels during shift and support coverage as needed.
• Ensure proper training of Sports Bar staff during the shift.
• Maintain product quality to meet the standards set by the Beverage Operations Manager.
• Assist with monthly inventory activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Receive all goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform regular Sports Bar duties, including bartending and waiting tables as needed.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Food & Beverage industry experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong training skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of a POS system.
• Bar equipment knowledge.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ability and willingness to work changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same.

Preferred Certification

• ServSafe certification preferred.

Salary & Location

Location: Morton, MN (onsite).
Salary: USD 14 - 29 per hour.
