Job Description

The Hotel Dena is seeking an on-site Room Attendant in Pasadena, CA to clean and maintain guest rooms to established standards. The position offers compensation of USD 24 per hour.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure they meet established standards.
Greet guests warmly during interactions.
Perform cleaning within the allotted time using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming to standards.
Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
Inform supervisors of any repair needs in guest rooms.
Handle guest items left in rooms in accordance with the lost and found policy.
Follow safety practices, wear protective equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
Carry out house person and lobby attendant duties when staffing is limited or during peak periods.
Be mindful of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Contribute to ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

High School diploma preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
Ability to understand and communicate in English.
