Room Attendant - Housekeeper

The Hotel Dena is seeking an on-site Room Attendant in Pasadena, CA to clean and maintain guest rooms to established standards. The position offers compensation of USD 24 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure they meet established standards.
• Greet guests warmly during interactions.
• Perform cleaning within the allotted time using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming to standards.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Inform supervisors of any repair needs in guest rooms.
• Handle guest items left in rooms in accordance with the lost and found policy.
• Follow safety practices, wear protective equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Carry out house person and lobby attendant duties when staffing is limited or during peak periods.
• Be mindful of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Contribute to ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
