Responsibilities

Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and dining options to offer personalized recommendations.
Coordinate effectively with all departments to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly.
Process payments and manage billing in accordance with hotel policies.
Keep the front desk area and lobby in pristine condition.
Assist with concierge services, transportation arrangements, and special requests.
Protect guest confidentiality and the privacy of their information.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively enhance the overall experience.
Handle VIP guests and special accommodations with meticulous attention to detail and discretion.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of front desk or guest-facing experience, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency with property management systems (PMS); knowledge of Opera or similar systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining poise and professionalism.
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
A polished appearance and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

This role blends guest-service duties with administrative oversight, acting as the hotel's manager on duty through the night shift and ensuring smooth operations until morning. The Night Auditor supports security, guest inquiries, and cross-department collaboration to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for overnight guests.

Responsibilities

Perform reconciliations of the day’s financial transactions to finalize the nightly balance
Function as a front desk agent overnight
Serve as the hotel's manager on duty overnight
Welcome guests during the overnight shift (typically 11 PM to 7 AM), assist with check-ins, reservations, and inquiries
Prepare and finalize Night Audit work, ensuring accurate daily transaction balancing
Conduct security walks to ensure guest and property safety and direct security personnel as needed
Prepare daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management insights
Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations and deliver exceptional service

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year in a hotel or related field
Supervisory experience is a plus
High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial
Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Friendly, service-oriented demeanor with excellent communication and attention to detail
