AM Server

Moonrise Hotel in St. Louis, MO is hiring a part-time AM Server to help deliver standout guest experiences. On-site duties include selling and serving food and beverages, handling payments, and keeping restaurant operations running smoothly. The role offers an hourly wage of $14.

Responsibilities

• Sell and serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests
• Ring orders using a computer to generate guest checks
• Engage with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
• Process various payment methods and provide accurate change
• Maintain assigned side work and ensure overall cleanliness and smooth restaurant operation
• Clear and reset tables between guests
• Check IDs to confirm legal drinking age and politely refuse service to those underage
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and offer taxi options if driving may be unsafe; involve a manager as needed
• Treat every guest with the goal of complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
• Report to work in a neat, clean uniform with good personal grooming
• Perform other duties as directed

Requirements

Essential Physical Requirements

• Estimated daily lifting up to 50 lbs
• Walks and stands for the entire shift
• Frequent reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping and wiping
• Potential hazards include cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
• Frequent hand washing
• Must be of legal drinking age under state law to serve alcohol
