Banquet Server

Hotel Bardo Savannah is looking for a full-time Banquet Server to support thoughtfully planned events and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. This onsite role focuses on preparing banquet spaces, serving warm food and beverages, and assisting with event execution from setup through breakdown.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces in accordance with event plans and Hotel Bardo service standards.
• Provide warm, professional food and beverage service during weddings, meetings, celebrations, and private events.
• Review event details and service expectations to confidently support the guest experience.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, and receptions, including beverage service, with strong attention to timing and presentation.
• Collaborate with Banquet Captains, culinary teams, bartenders, and fellow servers to help events run smoothly.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond quickly to requests, and manage changes professionally.
• Assist with breakdown, resetting, and keeping event spaces clean, organized, and ready for the next service.
• Follow food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, full-service restaurant, or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• Hospitality mindset with confidence when interacting with guests.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stay organized and composed during busy, high-volume events.
• Professional appearance and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of banquet service.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the event schedule.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, supporting readiness for event start times.
